[Dsg-hallb_magnets] MPS Status Bits

Hi Brian,

There is a good chance that the manual may not represent all the status bit names and its functionality. We need to take a look at the schematic to figure out if the status bits you are looking for truly represent as mentioned in the manual. So far all the bits 1 though 23 seems usual bits that we have on the accelerator power supplies. I believe bit 24 was a spare bit which can be programmed by the user. The sum interlock bit is green when all the interlocks are made up (you probably already know that). I don't have access to the manual and the control board schematic at this moment but I'll take a look tomorrow.

Thanks,
Onish

Subject: MPS Status Bits

Hi Onish,

I suspect I might have asked this in the past, but refresh my memory, did the firmware upgrade or customizations done to the supply change what the status bits are for or is what the manual has still correct? See attached images.

Seems what we're seeing on the PLC from the S1FIRST command (which also isn't in the manual) has bits set that maybe shouldn't be? For example, Bit 24 is set. We also have the interlock sum bit set, but no individual interlock bits.
