Hello,
I have questions that effect our part in the Hall B RICH assembly, perhaps
you can help.
We will need to drill some of the frame mounting holes as we assemble the
frame. It would be best to have access to a drill press. Do I need to
arrange anything to have access to one?
The Rich Exit Window is similar to the LTCC window, a Tedlar/Mylar sandwich,
on a multi part aluminum frame. The frame will be glued together using a
construction epoxy/acrylic or similar. The adhesive will likely be cartridge
based with a mixing nozzle. I'm still looking into picking the exact
product. Please share if you have some experience. Do I need to arrange
anything for working with glue?
The fabric will be glued to the frame once assembled. I understand some
space is available for assembling the Rich detector. Do you know if there is
sufficient space to layout and glue the fabric to the panel? I am hoping
there are some people familiar with the LTCC windows and can lend some
guidance or assistance in getting the fabric attached.
Thank you,
Kevin
