Hi Kevin,
Will you be coming with the INFN collaborators next week? If so, do you have a list of people coming? It would help on our end to know how much manpower from JLAB will be needed.
In regards to your questions, there are several drill presses available at the lab, but we would need to know the rough size of the part you're trying to drill (knowing the number of holes and size would be useful as well). Depending on the size of the part might even be feasible to bring a press to the part. It would be easier if a JLAB technician did the drilling, but if you need to do the drilling yourself that can be arranged as well.
Working with the glue is pretty similar, we need more information. At a minimum we would need the part number (if you have the MSDS pass that along too) so we could talk with industrial hygiene on what would be involved with using it. I don't foresee any issues, as long as it is a fairly standard commercial product.
There should be plenty of space in the cleanroom to do any gluing and there are plenty of people with experience dealing with windows (not just LTCC) at the lab that can be made available.
Thanks

The adhesive will likely be cartridge based with a mixing nozzle. I’m still looking into picking the exact product. Please share if you have some experience. Do I need to arrange anything for working with glue?

Do you know if there is sufficient space to layout and glue the fabric to the panel? I am hoping there are some people familiar with the LTCC windows and can lend some guidance or assistance in getting the fabric attached.
