Tyler can you describe the process so we can better understand it. How is it to be applied? How long is the anticipated work time with the loctite? How many people will be using it? Is it going to be taken directly from the 5 gallon bucket? Where is the nearest eyewash? What is the planned personal protective equipment to be used?

thanks
Mike

Subject: Question regarding using Loctite in EEL 124 cleanroom

Hello Jennifer and Mike,

We plan to use Loctite we received from collaborators on Monday May 15 for the assembly of the RICH detector. The work requiring Loctite will be done in the EEL 124 clean room.

Since the clean room recirculates the air inside of it, are there any hazards we should be aware of or precautions we should take regarding outgassing of the Loctite? Please let us know.

Attached is the SDS of the Loctite compound that we will use.

Best regards,
