Hello Marco,

We were able to get a different PC on with an updated version of the program that controls the monochromator running.

The laptop has been placed in the small cleanroom in front of the old computer.

The actual program is located at C:\Program Files(x86)\Newport\MonoUtilites\MonoUT.exe.

A shortcut to the new program is located at C:\Users\public\reflectivity.

The delays and timing to run both programs are different. Peter and I are figuring that out now. After the timing is determined, everything else should work the same way as the previous program.

Best regards,
Tyler

Subject: Monochromator

Hi Tyler,
this afternoom the program controlling the monochromator
was stuck for unknown reason. We try to power cycle the
monochromator, the PC and swap the USB ports. No way.
At most we were able to run 2-3 wavelenghts before
being stuck again. The program was not responding and
had to be killed all the times.

May you check it ? We urgently need to move ahead with the
mirror characterization. We are at disposal to help.

Thank you, Marco.
