Hello Bob and Doug,
We have met with Mark Loewus regarding the load test of RICH's stiffening tool. He will be writing the lift plan and performing the load test.
We have determined that the load test will be able to be performed using the crane in the EEL high Bay Area near EEL 125.
For the load test, we will need additional weights and some way to attach the weights (maybe some sort of basket) to the stiffening tool.
Hall B Engineering has said they will provide the weights and method to attach the weights to the stiffening tool. Where would these components be located?
Doug mentioned he has a dynamometer we could use to weigh parts before proceeding with the load test. Could we also get that when we get the additional weights?
We will also need the wheels to the DC trolley. Would you know where we could find those?
Please let us know.
