[Dsg-rich] Should RICH interlocks disable HV/LV on a humidity interlock trip?

Hello Marco Contalbrigo,
As noted at the end of January 2018, RICH's hardware interlock system is programmed so all interlocks disable HV and LV if that interlock goes out of its limits.
This means that even on low humidity interlock trips, high nitrogen flow interlock trips, or low temperature interlock trips (all interlocks that aren't necessarily bad), that HV/LV will be disabled.
Should this be the case?
If HV/LV should remain enabled in these interlock cases, we can change the program to serve only as an alarm of those interlocks.
Please let us know.
Best regards,
Tyler

Subject: [Dsg-rich] Should RICH interlocks disable HV/LV on a humidity interlock trip?
Hello,
Presently, for RICH's hardware interlock system, all interlocks (temperature, humidity, airflow, nitrogen flow) are coded to disable HV/LV if the interlock goes out of the limits.
Should HV/LV be disabled if a humidity interlock trips?
Are there any other interlocks that should only alarm and not disable HV/LV if the interlock trips?
If so, we could change the interlock logic during the next Hall B maintenance period.
Best regards,
Tyler
