Averaging just fools you into believing everything is copacetic
You see just flat lines
If you don’t want alarms increase the threshold
Averaging suppresses the spikes and is equivalent to increasing the threshold
So calculate and let me know averaging  over 100 is equivalent to increasing the threshold by how much
Then do 10000 average
Btw
What are false alarms guess it’s like fake news (something we don’t like)

yes, I am getting now the false alarms but
it is  a good test that cRio is working.
We may consider to return back to averaging after checking everything.

Hello Brian,
maybe I'm wrong, Tyler can confirm it or not, but I remember that the
averaging was enabled at some point to avoid fake alarms due to spikes
in the readout of the values.
We should make sure that disabling the averaging will not make the
alarms system less stable.
