Hi all,

I sent a longer note to Aaron and Marc with more details surrounding the
ongoing NPS work, but figured I would sent the main take-away to the
DSG list.

I'll be out for vacation for a couple weeks (Aug 2--16) but the NPS
group needs to maintain some momentum or we risk missing schedule in the
Fall. There are a few things that the DSG has been working on that will
soon be critical path for us very soon:

- Priority 1: Please focus on getting your HV (CAEN) and LV (MPOD)
software up and running on cdaql3. (We have workarounds, but running
the final, production software is a priority.)
    nps-hv1
    nps-hv2
Both crates have power and are on the network. There are *no* HV
cables plugged into the back and signs are posted to prevent that
from happening. So, you are free to point your software at those
crates and turn HV on/off at will to test/debug.

    nps-lv1
That crate is also online. I have been controlling it through a USB
cable, which is not great. It will be great to have the production
software for that MPOD crate up and running so we can control the
  crate from cdaql3

- Priority 2: User-friendly control software for the LED pulser system.

- Priority 3: Thermal readout software
    - Note: We still need to get the readout controller setup and the
thermocouples plugged in. This will be a task for the 2nd half
        of August.

I am maintaining a list of the active devices (DAQ, HV, LV crates, etc)
in EEL/108 here. I think this may be a useful reference.

In most cases you will need to be logged in as cdsg at cdaql3 in order to
access them (firewall restrictions).
