Simona,
The small jumper wire on the HV card itself is a safety loop cable that was used for testing. It can be removed.
The longer wire that is coming out from the metal Radiall connector is connected to the cable's shield/drain.
Since it wasn't clear if this would be needed for noise performance or not it has been left as a flying lead. If noise performance is an issue they should probably be connected to the ground lug of the crate.

Hi Mindy
I am about to start the nps calorimeter test with the HV cables you made. I attach two pictures.
One shows how I would plug the HV connector in the HV card and the other shows this wire that I don't know what's for.
I was wondering what the hanging wire is for and whether is there anything I have to do with it.
