Hi Simona,

I don't know which crate is the one you are using of the two below on the Hall C development subnet in the EEL:

nps-hv1, 129.57.195.130
nps-hv2, 129.57.195.132

>From GECO2020, I can see that both crates on the are configured to use TTL signals for the reset input rather than NIM signals.

There should be an LED on the controller of the CAEN control board that indicates which protocol is used for a way to check from in front of the mainframe.

The setting for TTL vs. NIM signals is under "Tech Info" to the left on the GECO screen and then in the "Front Panel" tab towards the bottom.

Subject: help with interlocking CAEN SY4527 PSs

Hi Tyler,

I am having issues with interlocking the NPS HV PSs with a NIM signal (from the LED driver). It interlocks as expected when the LED driver kicks out a NIM pulse but it also interlocks randomly when there's no NIM interlocking signal.

Ben told me that you helped Hall B with this problem so I was hoping you could help me as well, if you have the time.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Simona
