[Dsg-hallc_nps] NPS temperature reading jumps

Hi Aaron,

   I think it is hard to know if additional shielding or replacing the
mainframe would solve the issue. It can certainly help, but we will not
know for sure until we try.

However, I don't think we want to do any of that before the holiday. For
the time being, I would first like to confirm if rebooting the frame
actually fixes the problem. If you can provide us with a way for us to do
it, we can set a script to alert us when these jumps happens. Then we can
go ahead, do a reboot, and check if the jumps are "recovered".
