[EIC-eRD110] [EXTERNAL] notes of eRD110 meeting / Monday June 12th @ 12pm NY time --> next meeting Monday June 26th @2PM

Dear all,


here some sketchy notes about yesterday meeting and the timeline agreed.


Division lines between PED and eRD are not always clear (and also lines 
of separation with other eRDs). Approach will be to apply here in eRD110 
asking "money for good & necessary work", putting general sentence that 
given transition time it could happen management consider some requests 
more appropriate as PED. It also complicates things that eRD101 for 
mRICH will not morph in a eRD for pfRICH.  hpDRIC has 103 and dRICH 102. 
hpDIRC will move toward HRPPD but some work with MCP-PMT to make 
comparison 1:1 is part of the risk mitigation and will be proposed. For 
SiPM based on last year evaluation we might end up in PED.


In any case: each of us has to put good proposals for valuable work!


Please note on the agenda our next two meetings 26th June and 3rd July 
to converge.

         MCP-PMT Rachel+Yordanka (possibly coordination meeting needed 
before between Rachel and hpDIRC team)

    -  no report on FY2023 (in the "cloned" overleaf I already removed 
FY22 report)
    -  “be short”
    -  consider at your taste to say something about what could be 
potentially PED and what is eRDxxx (make cross references when deemed 
necessary), but we will have general statement at the beginning

    - *insert first draft of budget by 26 June*

26 June –  2 PM (EDT)  eRD110 meeting – discussion/action point 
following comparisons of what has been inserted in the document

27 June / 2 July ---> 2nd iteration editing

3 July  - 12 PM (EDT)  eRD110 meeting – final discussion (we are aware 
this is not ideal for US colleagues given 4th July but we have no 
options...)

4-7 July  final editing (hopefully just editorial + checks with 
groups/editors as needed) by Pietro, Yordanka, Alex, Carl, Xie
