T7 Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction 
Also provided is the updated Electrical Safety Committee Charter, as it also has been updated to reflect laboratory operations, and is relevant to these do cuments. 

The Technical Point of Contact is Todd Kujawa, Jefferson Lab's Electrical Safety Engineer, as such he played an integral role in the development of these do cuments. Technical reviews were provided by Jefferson Lab's Electrical Safety Committee: (Listed in alphabetical order) Giles Brown, Physics; Jonathan Creel, Engineering; Chris Cuevas, Physics; Kirk Davis, Accelerator; Randy Hartman, CNI; Charles Hightower, Physics; Bill Merz, Engineering; John Musson, Engineering/SRF; Paul Powers, Facilities; and Tom Powers, FEL. Others who also had input included Steve Neilson, DO E Site Office; Bill Rainey, ESH&Q. Comments were incorporated as appropriate. 

Changes include the following: 


    1. Training requirements revised to reflect current laboratory requirements. 
    2. Clarified the Electrical Equipment Safety Inspection Procedure process to reflect current laboratory operations. 
    3. Re-Assigned Electrical Authority having Jurisdiction program to an individual and clarified the responsibilities. 
    4. Updated the Electrical Safety Committee Charter to reflect the redefined Electrical Authority having Justification responsibilities. 

It is asked that you review the attached and provide comments by "return to sender" e-mail by October 29, 2013. If you have no input at this time a "no comment" response would be appreciated but is not required.
