oops! I can't reproduce the "good" debug version and I lost my output

I just tried to run a1c compiled in native 64-bit mode and it segfaulted
on the first event. Then I tried to run a debug version of the same
thing and I get what looks like good output. See here:
/work/clas/clasg12/clasg12/a1c_64bit_test/ucla_debugmode_f11_x86_64_gcc44/
To build this, I did the following scons command:
scons builddir=build_x86_64_debug debug=yes -j8 install
and I used the 64-bit branch of the build_system (see my previous email)
