I agree with this.  All analyses that have used EVNT back require the status variables (dc_stat, etc) to be OK.

The tracks with non-positive status in EVNT bank should be thrown away. After this, there is no big difference between EVNT and PART bank as to my knowledge.

When we (Dennis and I) went back to the original uncooked files, we discovered that the extra events that EVNT was reporting had no tracks in the DC. I believe that the normal CLAS_CALDB_RUNINDEX calib_user might work, but I have never verified.
