Happy new year!
As many of you have been aware, The  DOE Nuclear Office has just announced a solicitation
for theory topical collaboration proposals.
  Through private discussions, many felt that it is important to form a topical collaboration
in the area of GPDs, nuclear femtography and related topics on the origins of
the nucleon spin and mass. The Center of Nuclear Femtography strongly supports such an idea
and is happy to host a "town meeting" to discuss how to generate a super strong proposal
from our community.
  Therefore, we invite you to an online discussion this Wednesday at 5pm. Dr. Feng Yuan from
LBL and Dr. David Richards from Jlab will share their thoughts, and Dr. Jianwei Qiu will
talk about his successful experiences in TMD collaboration. We will discuss a path forward
to form a strong collaboration. If anyone you know who will be interested but not on this list,
please forward the email. For those who cannot attend, we will record the discussions
and send the record to this list after the meeting.
