[Gpdtc] Update.....

Dear All,

We wanted to give an update on the current situation regarding the TC “steering/coordination” committee.  We sent Xiangdong and Feng our list of members (Martha, Ian, Christian and David), but then Xiangdong got back to say that Feng and Phiala were unclear whether they wanted a joint/single proposal, and were meeting with their own group (I gather of the order of 10 institutions) on Tuesday or Wednesday to discuss.  We gather this is their first meeting.

Rather than giving a long detailed email description, we thought it best to inform and discuss in person amongst ourselves as soon as possible.

The proposal is to have a meeting either tomorrow afternoon (MLK day, unfortunately), or Tuesday before 130pm.  I realize not everyone will be able to participate, but if we could at least get one person from each institution that would be great.
