[Gpdtc] [External] Draft merger agreement

Yes: thank you, indeed!

Regarding the bridge position, securing Hampton's willingness to open one
is not guaranteed. In that sense isn't the language a bit too strong?
Perhaps something like "'[...] as such, we think Hampton U. is an ideal
target for funding, with the second choice [...]"

In general, the bullets read as a draft for an official document to be
agreed upon by the other half of the committee. Is that the intention? I
thought we wanted to present our ideas, not asking the others to agree on
pre-conditions, which is the way I fear they will read this document.

Anyway, it is curious to see Xiandong's name listed as an integral part of
the "Berkeley Lab" group, rather than a super-partes arbiter as he went out
of his way to position himself in the town meeting... But I also agree
that, in practice, the other group is where he belongs.

Regards,

    Alberto

P.S.
I marked myself as available tomorrow in the poll, and I will do my best to
join even though I am not entirely sure I will be able to.
