Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: October 18, 2016

1. Steve Woods
   a. Senior Staff meeting
     i. Lab should be getting funds soon
     ii. Still under continuing resolution
     iii. Assessments – get done ASAP
     iv. ARR for B, C, & D early January

2. Robin Wines
   a. SBS
     i. UVA GEM frames were put into machine shop fabrication by mid-December
     ii. Continue on remaining pieces of beamline support
   b. SoLID
     i. Initial magnetostatic modeling done for solenoid magnet
     ii. Continue arrangements for moving CLEO magnet to JLab
   c. Polarized 3He Target
     i. Continue for Hall C and concepts for Hall A targets

3. Jessie Butler
  a. Focused on locking up the Hall in order to take beam
  b. Completed the pre-beam checklist, did final check on vacuum & cryogenics
  c. Continued training with new personnel on the operations computer used during beam
  d. Last Thursday the hall reopened to restricted access
     i. Focused on moving vacuum pumps and pumping on different systems to ensure vacuum levels were good
