Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: July 31, 2018

1. Steve Wood
   a. No Senior Staff meeting

2. Robin Wines
   a. APEX
     i. Extension box support was delivered
     ii. Septum support pieces should start coming in next week
     iii. Continue on dump shielding
   b. PREX/CREX
     i. Continue on concrete shielding and vacuum chambers
     ii. Plastic shielding ready for procurement
   c. SBS
     i. Checking tower extension and ordering other small parts
   d. Had collaboration meetings with SBS, APEX, and PREX/CREX

3. Jessie Butler
   a. The main focus of the week was cool down
   b. Back pressure in ESR was higher than the pressure in our magnets which gave us unlimited flow and in 
         return it stalled the cool down
   c. Heidi was able to reconfigure our system and we began cooling
   d. Currently the magnets are cooling as expected (all magnets are under 200K)
   e. Received all repair parts for LHRS exit window
   f. The titanium window is currently in the Machine Shop having the holes installed
   g. Took delivery of some more APEX support structure and Hillman roller
   h. Dump work continues in the hall.
     i. Safety Systems Group completed PSS certs

4. Jack Segal
   a. Support of HCal detector work in Test Lab
   b. Shelving to be assembled for delay cables
   c. Brackets for HV boxes, drill and tap ¼ - 20 holes in HCal frame
   d. Cleanout and preparation of relay racks located in ESB, 1 to be moved to EEL 126 and the other to HCal in 
          Test Lab
