Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: August 7, 2018

1. Steve Wood
   a. There will be another accountability exercise on Thursday of this week – will now be done quarterly
   b. Planning to move toward total time reporting - details are still being discussed 
   c. Requested 34 weeks of running in recent OPS review

2. Robin Wines
   a. SBS
     i. Completed tower extension analysis and drawing revisions
     ii. Continue moving CAD files to new system
   b. PREX/CREX
     i. Continue on concrete shielding and collimator/sieve enclosure
     ii. Septum coil arrived
   c. SoLID
     i. Reviewing cost estimate

3. Jessie Butler
   a. Continued with cool down, average temps are approximately 125K
   b. Barring any setbacks, cool down should be completed no later than August 17th
   c. Received SBS counterweight steel back from vendor
     i. The steel was sandblasted and primed by the vendor and we off-loaded the blocks in the Test Lab
   d. Assisted Jack in pulling LHRS detector stack in preparation to start exit window repair
   e. Received all the parts needed to repair exit window and repair work began on August 6th
   f. Worked with Ethan to mount panels in the shield hut for Bogie controls
   g. Began making hand rails for ladders up to the dipoles and Q3s
   h. Continued to monitor vacuums as the cool down progresses
