Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: February 6, 2018

1. Thia Keppel
   a. No Senior Staff, no news
   b. Sign up for shifts!

2. Whit Seay
   a. PREX
     i. Finalizing a new Radial Wedge Flange Clamp Test Assembly to accommodate a 6” OD Tube with Karl Smith 
        (Karl designed the original Radial Wedge Clamp for a 3” OD tube)
     ii. Working on PREX collimator vacuum changer & the vacuum tubes through the septum
     iii. Working on the pivot mount/frames for APEX and PREX/CREX
   b. SBS
     i. Completed the weldment drawing for the Ecal front frame weldment and received all approvals in the 
        document control system. Ready for purchase.
     ii. Work continues on the rear frame and internal components

3. Jessie Butler
   a. Work on fine-tuning the schedule for APEX and PREX
   b. Worked with JP on locating equipment that was used in polarized H3
   c. Went to Huntington Storage to inventory and excess old equipment
   d. Spent most of the week working in the Test Lab separating the SBS counterweight steel and masking the holes  
      – this was done to prep the steel for shipping out for sandblasting
   e. Working on updating documentations for the halls’ cryo system
   f. Fabricating the new Hcal module support braces
   g. Machined the parts and welded them together, this project will take several weeks to complete as there are 
      a lot of machining and welding to be done
