Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting:  June 1, 2021

1.       Jessie Butler

     *   Work in Hall A progressing well
     *   Mobil crane is still in hall
     *   Crane will been gone for a few weeks within the next week
     *   Survey alignment work is going on
     *   Crane will come back, but not sure when
     *   Crane is here to help with the magnet, beam line tower
     *   Survey alignment completed for right elevation
     *   Constructing right access form – ladder is up
     *   Air handling replacement is getting ready to take place
     *   Bob Michaels need bucket for crane is gone (Jack will help with that)
     *   When can people sign up for walk thru ?  Not sure, hoping for end of June first of July
     *   PSS search for next week, is on the work map/calendar


2.      Thia Keppel

     *   Senior Staff meeting
     *   HUGS starts today June 1 (65 students virtual)
     *   FY22 budget is here, increase to CEBAF operations
     *   90% optimal, medium energy is up
     *   Equipment budget is up as well
     *   Moller beam line – Jay Benesch is working on that


3.      Engineering

     *   Robin is working on assembly issues
     *   UVAUV working on
     *   New floor survey points
     *   ECAD detector supports
     *   Working on coil test


4.      Jack Segal

     *   High voltage signage up


5.      Ed Folts

     *   Hurricane check list are due
     *   First call for experiment documentation (Bogdan)


6.      Steve Wood

     *   TAC reports – looking for volunteers
     *   List of proposals were shown, deadline 1.5 weeks
     *   Thursday/Friday collaboration meeting next week (JP Chen)
     *   Summer lecture series – started today June 1 will go through July.  Pass onto students
