  4.  Jack Segal
     *   INFN GEM Detectors
        *   Installation in BigBite Detector
     * INFN GEM layers installed on rails in frame on BigBite detector.
        * A series of practice lifts and installations were performed prior to lifting actual GEM layers.
     * GEM layers flowing UHP nitrogen using independent gas manifold, will be hooked up to prototype gas rack when ready for Argon/CO2.
     * BigBite Detector Weldment – grounding
        * Installed 1AWG ground cable to BigBite weldment. Connected to building earth ground.
        * Needs additional mounting hole drilled, currently clamped on for now.
        * Ordered 2AWG cable and lugs for grounding of relay racks.
     *   GEM DAQ –Cabling
        * HDMI Cables in INFN lab being prepared for transport to TEDF. (Ezekiel)
        * Wire baskets delivered to TEDF for coiling excess HDMI cables next to DAQ rack.
        * Cabling in GEM layer side cable trays remounted and pulled down enough for attachment of cable mounting blocks to welded plate on GEM frame.
     * GEM DAQ Relay Rack - Ethernet Patch Panels
        * Received 16-channel 1U ethernet patch panels, awaiting delivery of 175ft Cat 6 cables from CDW.
        * Cables will be bundled and inserted in tubing for run in cable trays.
        * Will extend from BigBite DAQ weldment to GEM DAQ relay rack.
     *   GEM Gas in TEDF
        * Evaluation of gas storage options in high bay of TEDF.
        * Currently have a 2-cylinder rack along with a number of carts, another 2-cylinder rack on hand but needs wall space.
     * BigBite Timing Hodoscope - Dry Air Supply
        * Received Clippard miniature brass manifolds and barb fittings for connection of dry air tubing to PMT bases. Each base currently has 24" of black 1/16ID poly tubing pre-installed. Manifolds have (12) connections, each to be connected with black 1/4" poly tubing and Legris push fittings.
        * Plans to construct dry air flowmeter panel with needle valve and 3 PSI monometer. (As per Albert's schematic)
     * ECAL Thermal Test Enclosure – Construction
        * In the process of installing laser cut Kapton heat shield sheets to light guides.
        * Foamglas insulation blocks need to be wrapped in foil and holes drilled in top layer for suspension rod insertion.
        * Qty (9) modules currently on aluminum plate on blocks, will be suspended on threaded rods after top insulation block installed. (rods pass through insulation block)
     * Ethan finished refurbishing the head of a Hall A RGA. He ran the Right Arm halfway to the truck ramp. The move went better than the Left Arm, we'll have to look into that a bit more. Various assorted small tasks.
     * I did not get to touch base with Joe this week.
     * I do not remember a fraction of what I did this week. I did finally get a chance to look at the BB signals in the TEDF. They had some grounding issues that Chuck
took care of. Noise coming from the NINO cards. Raising the threshold cut the noise. They will need to take a few runs to find where they are able to set the
thresholds at. An ongoing effort.
