Dear Hall A collaborators and friends from Hall C,
We are having a great time running the Marathon (experiment)!!! However, there are many empty shift spots in the upcoming weeks... so please, if you can, come and join us to continue this journey by taking shifts in Hall A and drinking some good coffee in the counting house!
Just make sure you have all the required training, including the simple Tritium Target Awareness Training that is required for all shift workers. To take that, just listen to some slides for about 30 min:
https://www.jlab.org/div_dept/train/Tritium%20Trng/TritiumTargetTrng%20(Web)/index.html
It would be great if you could take a Target Operator shift! The training for tritium target operator is very easy if you are already trained for cryo target operator. You need to go through some slides and join one trained TO for half a shift or so, as described at:
https://wiki.jlab.org/jlab_tritium_target_wiki/index.php/Training
Ten shifts are requested for authorship of the tritium papers for this run period (from December to March). Note that owl shifts are weighted by 2 and weekends by 1.5, so please consider taking owl shifts (five owls shifts = ten shifts)!
Have a nice weekend and hope to see you around!
