As far as I know the tune - As far as I know the tune mode generator isn't broken, it just requires a special procedure by OPS to get it to working.     There is also a hot spare ready to swap in.   Copying Joe Grames so he can discuss with PD and OPS.   Also, using CW for tuning with our small angle beam pipe in seem unwise at best.

Context: since the tune mode generator (at the injector) isn't functioning as expected. There have been cases of MCC requested to send 5 uA CW team into Hall C. Before the CW tuning process started, MCC request the shift crews for permission.
