We made some progress since yesterday, completing the first HMS positron setting at 35 degrees and starting the second.  When available, beam has been a little unstable - MCC is working to improve this.
An overheating issue with magnets powered by the ARC7 supply yesterday was fortunately resolved with a minimally invasive back-flush, so beam was able to be returned on owl shift. 

Yesterday afternoon, Dave Meekins and Chris Keith resolved the issues with the 3He target by power cycling the fan controller - we are now able to operate the 3He target normally.

It was announced this morning in the 8 am meeting that due to increased incidence of COVID-19 in the area, JLab will again require masks in public areas.  This will officially start tomorrow - shift workers starting with owl shift Saturday (Jan. 14)  should wear masks during shift.

There will be a brief RC meeting today at 11 am.  The Zoom information is below.
