*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SHIFT TAKERS: JLab requires wearing masks in public areas due to COVID-19 Community Level increases in the area. Please remember to wear a mask in the counting house.

Several different RF related issues with the accelerator prevented beam delivery to Hall C during the Friday day shift https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4108372 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4108442 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4108472 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4108355.

When beam was restored to Hall C early swing shift, we resumed positron data taking with the HMS at setting 2 (HMS momentum +2.11 GeV and HMS angle 35 deg) on 4He target. In the meantime, the SHMS resumed electron data taking at 10 deg and -9.2 GeV with loose hodoscope paddle configuration (SHMS S1X(1-5) and S2X(1-6) HV TURNED OFF).

At start of the day shift this morning, we moved to positron setting 4 (HMS momentum +1.63 GeV, angle remains unchanged (35 deg)) and the SHMS is still taking electron data at the same kinematic setting (10 deg and -9.2 GeV) which will be kept the same for the next a couple of days.

Our beam current is currently limited to ~40 uA due to the 3C00 BLM trips https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4108355. In today's PD meeting, it was mentioned that a plan to improve this is being formed. Hopefully, we will be able to run with 60 uA on the allowed targets soon again.

There will be no RC meeting today.

Have a good weekend!
-Burcu
