We are currently still taking production data. Around 10:15 AM on Saturday morning, shift workers noticed a failure in the temperature readback from the NPS that triggered an alarm, both the temperature readback from the chiller flowmeter, and for all the blocks, were lost. We contacted Aaron Brown, who spent several hours troubleshooting remotely before concluding that the Keysight mainframe was hung up and had to be restarted in the hall. We did a controlled access around 1:30 PM so that he could do that, during this access we also unplugged column 1 of the NPS voltages since it was faulting as Wassim noticed the previous day.

Restarting the mainframe brought the temperatures back and we continued collecting production data through the rest of the day. Through swing and owl shift, shift workers began to notice DAQ instability due to the high data rate. This was temporarily remedied by cutting the currents in the run plan in half in accordance with guidance from Julie Roche and Alexandre Camsonne, and further increasing the prescale factor to reduce the trigger rate below 1.5 kHz. The livetime still proved unstable, and we ultimately increased the NPS VTP readout threshold to 400 at Alex's request. Now it seems more stable production data is being collected for the moment.
