RC update (27th April 2024)

We continue production data-taking for the KinC_x60_2 setting. Beam when available has been good, with 11.9 ABUs collected since yesterday. Dave Gaskell took a Moeller measurement yesterday morning and found the polarisation is around 78% (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4289560). We have been back in production running since, with a significant accelerator downtime yesterday afternoon/early evening. 

The half-wave plate was changed to IN around lunchtime yesterday and there was an initially large beam charge asymmetry. This was quickly corrected by running feedback (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4289752).  

We were not able to take an LH2 target fan frequency study data yesterday as planned due to the long accelerator time. This can be scheduled on Monday. The plan is still to move to the next kinematic setting on Tuesday. Wednesday is a maintenance day.

There will be no RC meeting today or tomorrow unless anyone would like to have one.
