Folks,

We have started a Gluex software discussion email list. You can find 
posts at

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/gluex-software

Back at the last collaboration meeting I announced this as a Hypernews 
site. Since then, we realized that although Hypernews has the features 
we wanted, that site was meant for internal collaboration discussions. 
We wanted to have this discussion available to interested parties 
outside the collaboration as well.

To subscribe, there are options. Any one of the following should work:

 1. Send me an email and I will send you an invitation.
 2. Send a random email to gluex-software+subscribe at googlegroups.com .
 3. Log into the google groups site as halldops at gmail.com and add yourself.
 4. Log into your Google account and navigate to the URL given above.
    Click on "Apply to join group". This will subscribe you with your
    Gmail address.

Note that you do not need to have a Google account to send and receive 
emails or to browse posts. A Google account is only necessary if you 
want to post or reply via the web interface.

Feedback on this technology choice is welcome, as usual.
