*IT Maintenance Day Set for April 18, 5-10 p.m.*
The IT Division is planning a maintenance period for 5-10 p.m. on 
Tuesday, April 18. During this time, division staff will be making a 
change to the central file servers, but no issues are expected. If you 
have any problems connecting to the M:\ drive (sgroup drive) after the 
planned maintenance period on Tuesday, notify the IT Division Helpdesk. 
The Scientific Computing group's name server will be replaced with a new 
server; this should have a minimal effect on farm jobs. For those who 
use the VPN system: the VPN server will also be replaced with an updated 
server; connections to the VPN after the upgrade will cause a local 
client download and update. Also, division staff will release updates to 
core Common User Environment software, such as Firefox and Flash, to all 
CUE-managed desktops. Finally, Linux and Windows patches will be 
released to all CUE-managed desktops and servers. Central web servers 
and other servers will be rebooted during the maintenance period or 
overnight to finalize these patch installations. Plan on rebooting your 
Windows or Linux desktop as soon as practical, but no later than Friday, 
April 21, in order to finalize patch installation on your system. If you
