OK. Except that the epics scaler program was (re)started couple of hours
after crate reboot, resetting thresholds from DAQ-configured 30
back to 100 and leading to sudden change in rates which I began to monitor
since reboot. I'm worried that this can happen again, only in the middle of
the data run this time (DAQ sets thresholds to 30). Somehow, the threshold 
setting of DAQ and epics scalers should be in better sync with each other 
to avoid making mess of thresholds and rate monitoring (or one 
of them shouldn't reinitialize discriminators at all).
