[Halld] Shifts on Standby. Update on the run

Dear Collaborator,

The beam has been tuned up to the dumplet before the tagger hall. However a software or a communication problem is preventing the beam to pass this point and enter the tagger. While the magnets near the tagger ramp and the tagger magnet are set properly, the PSS system detect a mismatch between them and is not allowing the beam to be send to the tagger hall. PSS and accelerator staff have been working on this issue since this morning but the problem remains. They will continue to work on it tomorrow.

Consequently, the Sunday owl and day shifts are on standby.

(Standby shifts means that the shift crew should be close to JLab and ready to come to shift on short notice).

I will send an update on the situation tomorrow during the day.
