Dear collaborators,
The GlueX NIM paper "The GlueX Beamline and Detector" is ready for final
inspection on DocDB as GlueX-doc-4294-v4
https://halldweb.jlab.org/doc-public/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=4294.
Please pass this on to any author that might not be on the target mail
lists. A summary of the process for producing this document is available
on the wiki at
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/GlueX_NIM_paper_documentation.
The Collaboration Review was open for feedback between April 9-27.
Comments were collected and tracked via Naomi's web interface at
https://gluexweb.jlab.org/author-view-comments-nim-paper. A total of 158
comments were made and most have been implemented in the updated draft.
A response to each suggestion is documented on the web interface[Note
1]. Thanks to everyone for your feedback and to the many experts that
provided timely updates and responses to the many suggestions.
The current draft has 184 authors, 94 pages, 54 figures, and 95
references. This version of the paper has been uploaded to github and
the repository
https://github.com/JeffersonLab/gluex_documents/tree/master/gluex_nim
will contain the authoritative source from now on. The draft on Overleaf
is current but may no longer reflect future changes. This draft will be
submitted for internal JLab review. After approval we can submit a
revised version to the arXiv and Nucl. Instru. and Meth. A with any
last-minute corrections.
Thanks to everyone for contributing to this effort and getting us to
this point. Elton.
[Note 1] Exceptions to the annotations are entries 904-908 because of a
bug in the web interface, but all suggestions in that range were
implemented.
