Hi,

Today we held our bi-weekly online meeting with Michael Merkin of MSU 
concerning the progress of the SVT project.

First Saptarshi and I discussed our 11 technical questions we sent him 
yesterday. He indicated that he was going to email his response early 
next week.

Next Amrit and Michael discussed the test pcb being designed in Russia 
for the full chain test. It was agreed that Michael should use Brian's 
FSSR2 test pcb to prepare a version of the full chain test for the 
Lehman review in September.

Latifa, Michael, and Amrit discussed the MOU between Jlab and MSU for 
collaboration and construction. These will be based on ODU's MOU. Latifa 
will look at the draft version of the collaboration MOU sent from 
Michael and provide input on how to incorporate the 
construction MOU. Michael will contact Latifa directly on this matter.

Jefferson Lab will generate a contract for the full chain test if need be.

Regarding students. Michael would like to send Stas and a new PHd. student, 
Eugene, to work with Amrit on simulation for the SVT. Latifa will look into this matter.

For the Lehman review (Sept. 28) Michael is looking at an arrival here 
in the U.S. of Sept 21.

The sensor test will be identical to the D0 tests.
