Hello,
Here is a draft for the commissioning plan with beam. I would like to
have your input on the ECal related part (mainly part 2). Let me know if
you have any remarks or if you see anything missing.
Best,

Subject: Draft HPS Commissioning Doc
Dear All,
We discussed this more in the SVT meeting this week, and made some changes.
Please have a look, and prepare to comment/correct at the Monday
beamline meeting.
Some questions came up:
1. Can the wires handle 50 nA?
2. Stepan says we need 50 nA to get good measurements from the BPMs
just upstream of the first Frascati.
Q: Can we expect good beam stability at HPS at 10 nA if we just
check beam positions with the nano-BPMs located upstream?
I'm asking because the SVT would like 10 nA to do its timing studies,
to minimize accidentals.
Most other running could be at 50 nA or above.
3. Are we ready with beam trip diagnostics? A number of possibilities
are listed in the document.
John
