[Hps] Election of New HPS Collaboration Members

Dear HPS,

Since our collaboration meeting in June, we've had requests from 13 people to become members of the HPS Collaboration.
A brief request for membership and indication of how they will contribute to HPS is given for each of them in the attached document. 

We're very pleased to have so many new candidates. They are largely INFN colleagues, who are already playing an expanded role with the Ecal and have already secured some additional support for HPS.

This information is being provided in accordance with the HPS Bylaws, which require candidate names and application information be distributed 30 days in advance of the vote. The HPS EC has chosen to conduct this election by email instead of at our next collaboration meeting because most if not all of these people are already or will soon be working on HPS, and any extra delay seemed unwarranted. We will call for an email election on or about October 4, 2013, and at that time (NOT NOW!) will request you vote on each of the new candidates.

So for now, be aware that an election is coming up and please look over the list. 

We'll write again in one month's time with instructions on how to vote.
