[Jlab_cc] **New PCard Policies and Procedures effective 10/1**

Good morning,

As most of you are aware, the new PCard policies and procedures take effect today. We wanted to send out a friendly reminder of some key changes:


1.       You will need to submit a PCard PR for all purchases to obtain approval BEFORE placing your PCard order. Keep in mind, all purchases require 3 quotes. You can attach the 3 quotes to the PR for your AO to review/approve, and these attachments will be automatically attached to your credit card entry once Phase II has been implemented in the next couple of weeks. A credit card entry cannot be created/saved without an approved PR#. There is a link on the PR to review the unauthorized/restricted items list. See screen shot below on where to find this link.

2.       Review the Unauthorized / Restricted Item lists. We have attached the documents for reference.

a.       Ecommerce - anything that can be ordered through Ecommerce is unauthorized on the PCard. Please utilize the Ecommerce Punch Out (https://misportal.jlab.org/punchout/index.jsf). If there is not a catalog for the vendor you are looking for, please email GSS at jlab at govsci.com<mailto:jlab at govsci.com> for assistance. They are able to source vendors that do not have a catalog, such as McMaster-Carr and Amazon.

b.       If you are unsure if an item is allowed, reach out to Barbara Rice and Brittany Dennis for assistance.
