Hey Dan,
Thanks for that quick work.
The second file seems to be locked or something - I can¹t read it.
So a (very) zeroth order statement about the data your analysis gives us
is that we should make the cut to eliminate everything below the abscissa
zero. This is slightly problematic for foil # 1 and quite problematic of
foil # 15, though.
In this regard, was the inelastic, monotonically-decreasing ³pedestal"
subtracted from the data before you calculated the asymmetries? I¹m
surprised that the asymmetry generally falls for the one or two slices
just below the mean; this may be due to the pedestal.
Attached are the resources on Pade approximates that I have gotten from
the interweb; there are many more that seem qualitatively less useful.
