There is a new project coming – I confirmed with Tony and Joe that we should go ahead and set up a project folder set in DOCUSHARE



The folder should be called the following until we are told differently (this is aligned with JLAB Cost Point)



1.23 – Electron ION Collider  (EIC)  Crab Cavity Fab & Processing– Tony Reilly/Joe Preble



(the PMO has their own number system not in Cost Point )

Hello, Joe Preble here. I am working to understand how JLab might make and process Crab Cavities for the EIC. Tony Reilly has asked that you are invited to a meeting to discuss this. There are two alternative designs, and we are working to down select to one. So fabrication and processing pros and cons will be important to us.



I am including some information attached here, CAD models from Jim Henry and fabrication presentations from HyeKyoung and Doug (BNL).  I will follow up with an agenda in the next day or so.
