Greetings all,
Attached please find a minor rev of the PPU final assembly traveler. In response to CAPA 28, from December's Audit A-015: Performance Assurance ISO Audit, the SRF QA Calibration Process needs to show measurements in travelers that state that the use of "Critical MTE" is required for critical measurements, and require recording the unique identifier of the Critical MTE.

The Pressure Gauge and Helium Standard Leak Rate used in step 47 and 48 are now called "Critical MTE" and those steps now use the language prescribed by section 5.2 of the calibration QA procedure, SRF-03-PR-001 Calibration and Verification_R2.

To avoid confusion, I've also reworded several steps that mention the use of a "calibrated Leak Detector" to instead use a "Helium Standard Leak Rate." Any time that calibrated equipment is required, it must be called out as a Critical Measurement, which then requires that Critical MTE be used and recorded. The traveler now makes clear that only the final leak check and pressure tests in step 47 and 48 are Critical Measurements.

According to the PPU Master Traveler spreadsheet:

J. Martin, J. Fischer, M. Marchlik and N. Huque are signatories. I've attached the marked-up draft copy with Track Changes, in case it's helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Allen,
Please find the "clean" copy uploaded to the Draft Travelers area:

Would you please start routing this document for signature?

Thanks,
Larry
