Gary,
If you're dealing with accidentally deleted docushare items, I'd recommend reaching out to docushare at jlab.org. They would be able to help you best.
Allen

Hi Allen,
I have installed the Drive and it works fine for now. Thanks for pointing me to the installation guide.
Do you happen to know if there is any possibility to recover DocuShare folders deleted by mistake?
Thanks,
Gary

That is a very old document. What is that OS, Windows 95? It's not younger than XP, that's for sure.
We do have this guide on the pansophy homepage about installing DocuShare Drive<https://pansophy.jlab.org/pansophy/Documents/DocuShareDrivePDF.pdf>. The screen recording seem to be having trouble, but the steps should still be good. I'll warn you though that it's not supported by DocuShare anymore. Also it's limited by Windows Explorer limits, meaning you'll lose functionality the deeper you go into folders because of the file path character limit. Moving or renaming documents at that stage will just have them revert to their previous state but with new modified dates. It's still useful, but there's several projects I can't use it on anymore because of that. For those I revert to the browser.
I'll leave your service request open for now as you work through the install. Let me know when you have it installed and working, and I'll close it up.
Allen

Hi Allen,
I think so. I found a very old document authored by Bonnie Madre who retired years ago. In that document, she talks about the DocuShare Windows Client software.
Thanks,
Gary

Gary,
I got your service request. When you ask for the DocuShare Windows client, do you mean DocuShare Drive? That's the one that lets you access DocuShare via windows explorer.
Allen
