Matthew:

Here are my comments, some of which I thought of since we last spoke. I am back from the conference, I think I will be out on Monday though.

Roger:

The hashtags are to make filtering and searching much more effective. I have more details in the comments on Figure 1. The idea is to start with the tracker spreadsheet comments. Anything bracketed with # marks (such as #tag#) could easily be found in a search. In the future, the plan is to generalize the idea, where there's another page, with a comment box and nothing else. The system tracks users and timestamps from submitting comments, and hashtags are very effective at finding all comments / notes / bits of knowledge with the same tag. This is much more flexible for all the learnings and other bits of knowledge that don't fit well into a structured format, like a spreadsheet. I see this as a solution to the problem of passing on experience to newcomers. We have no solution other than word of mouth for this problem right now.

Regards,

Adam

Dear Matthew,

What is the future hashtag functionality listed under section 5?

Best regards,
Roger.

Hi Adam,

Following our meeting last Thursday I have created a project scope for this phase of the project. We had discussed your teams feedback on the current vacuum maintenance system in Pansophy and I believe this document reflects those changes.

I would appreciate it if you could review this scope and provide your feedback before it goes to formal approval.

Kind Regards,

Matthew Menia
