SUBJECT: Single Point of Contact for Plotting Needs From Document Control

Dear Colleagues,

The Engineering Division's Document Control Group provides the service of plotting large-format drawings and posters for JLab staff, scientific users and students. In addition to generating the posters, they can be mounted on foam board for easier display. As we are in a busy time of year with Open House, multiple conferences and the student poster session upcoming, please follow the process outlined below to help streamline the process. Please E-mail DocumentControl at jlab.org<mailto:DocumentControl at jlab.org> with:

  1.  Name and contact information of the requestor and a backup person.
  2.  Date needed: The standard turnaround time is two to three business days. Let Document Control know if earlier delivery is needed.
  3.  Number of copies.
  4.  Size: The standard poster size is 36 x 48 inches.
  5.  Attach electronic file: PDF or PowerPoint (.ppt) format.
  6.  Provide special instructions if needed.
  7.  File of the document to be plotted: The file format should be .pdf or .ppt.

A representative will respond to acknowledge receipt and respond to any questions that may arise. Once the job is completed, you will be contacted to pick up your poster in TED rm. 55-2525.
