Hello Jay, Joe,

I would like to understand what we are talking about in this discussion. It was unclear to me from what Joe was saying yesterday at the meeting if we are talking about an intermediate solution towards the final solution or about the "final solution" per see. I also dont understand the consequences about what we are going to discuss at the coming LEEPP Workshop. What is the global picture involved from Source development towards high energy beam delivery ? Is it "just" a matter of installing the final positron source elsewhere than LERF ? Also what electron beam energy are we talking about for positron production ?

Sorry if you already address some of these questions in previous meetings, I'm catching up.

Colleagues,

As Joe said, I have listed advantages and disadvantages of two injector 
locations, LERF and adjacent to the existing injector.  Two pages total. 
I would be happy to compile any thoughts you have, with or without 
attribution, to add as pages 3, 4, ... to my document if you convey them 
to me before COB next Tuesday.
