[Prex] News on hall A ; RC meeting at 3:30 pm today and every week day

Last night a tropical storm passed through the area, spawning tornadoes.  A tornado warning
caused a general shutdown of the lab, which will take an estimated 12 to 24 hours to recover from.
I'm pretty sure there was no damage or injury, we just have to recover many systems that were
shutdown.  How this affects our schedule, I don't know yet.  I'm working on finding out.  But I
have cancelled shifts until Thursday Day shift.

News in hall A:

* Leaks in Ar/CO2 for R-HRS GEMS.  The GEMS themselves are leak-tight.  Chuck Long is
chasing the leak, with Jack and Chandan right behind.

* Magnets: I gather the problems are not insurmountable but take time; see Jack's halog 3820186

* L-HRS: detectors look pretty good, Devi, Bogdan, and Albert working hard.

* R-HRS: detectors. It would be good if we could certify what we can (DAQ/trigger/scalers/scintillators).
However, the VDCs has a problem:  connections to the 5V for amplifiers and the thresholds.
Ethan, Jack, and Bogdan are working on this problem.   Devi will certify what we can when we can.

* Parity DAQ:  thorough tests being done by Cameron.  They swapped an ADC on L-HRS that
had a bad / flakey pedestal, so I think that solves the problem Devi pointed out yesterday.
