Hi Mike,
thank you for the plots that gives a starting point.
Could you also add the plots of efficiency and distribution of rate in the
detector ?
There might be some way to optimize by increasing some threshold in places
where there is a lot of light.
Also I think you mentioned that most of the time only 2 or 3 PMTs are hit.
But could you also look at the sum over 9 PMTs with higher PE thresholds,
there might be some places where we could put a higher threshold on the sum.
Though it is possible the rate just goes crazy when you sum all 9 PMTs.
Hopefully with the increased baffle and beam pipe size that can be further
reduced.
