Bob,

Below are the cost changes as it pertains to colors.

    * Given that the cost increase for painting the parts yellow is $708 more than having the parts painted in white - 50% the cost of the strongback parts,
    * and given the fact that we are in a terrible budget crunch, i'm sure you know this fact, there isn't money available to endorse painting the parts in yeloow.

So the parts will be painted white .
Thank you for your understanding

Hi Tyler,

You can paint all the parts regular yellow to reduce the cost.

Hello Bob,

In regards to General Comment #1 you made in the attached document, we were told by G&R Metals that safety yellow is more expensive compared to regular yellow because safety yellow is defined by ANSI Z535 standard.

Marc has contacted G&R for an estimate on how much more the job will cost if safety yellow is used. The price difference is in the table below.

White (Current Quote) White (Currently quoted)
	Yellow (If Specified on drawings)
Safety Yellow (If Specified on drawings)

Load Test Parts
	$1840
	$2020
	$2400

Trolley
	$2375
	$2550

$3000

Strongback parts
	$1490
	$1843
	$2400

Because of the price difference, could you let us know which parts, if any, can be painted with regular yellow or plain white?

Best regards,
Tyler

Hello Bob,

As we discussed on the phone, attached are the three drawings sets for the RICH parts that DSG would like checked by Hall B Engineering.

It would be urgent to check these as soon as possible to avoid any delay in the parts' fabrication. We expect that the procurement of the fabrication contract will be complete in about one week.

Best regards,
Tyler
